Build My Rank
Has anyone used a backlinking service called Build My Rank?
Its a link building service that gets you some links each day. I’ve just signed up for a free 15 day trial so should find out more but after the trial it is $60 per month which sounds like a lot.
I hope I remember to cancel the trial before I get billed (unless it is good).
Anyone used it?

Dont think your gonna get results with anything in 15 days. 3 weeks min imho
awful awful service.. where you effectively putting the work in to build someone else site.. I have used and and stayed away from it at all costs..
That doesn’t sound good! Can you recommend any alternatives? How can I get links!!!
Yeah, you are probably right. Will see what happens and then decide to stay or go. $60 is quite a lot if it’s not working out.
there is no overall single solution out there.. BMR is geared toward getting as much as possible out of you here is the break down:-
you spend time to write a 150 word+ snippet
OR you spend money per post (which irrespective of quality some how automatically gets approved)
you gain few powerful links.. for a while.. until you post is on their home page (and gain that pr) depending on the niche you post can stay between 10 to 30 days.
Then after which is moves to another page.. and then what? you have to write another blog post to maintain your position gain if any.
not to mention some wont get indexed. its a constant uphill struggle and one you will eventually loose especially if you have more then two sites..
Lots of people bumping this service, because they offer a re-occurring commission
personally I stay away from:-

BMR
UAW
UAW was good 2 years ago, but very very bad now…just my opinion..
BMR is just like all the other so called rank and link building tools and other worthless article tools out there – they just do not work.
Sure with BMR you MUST create an original unique article to get it published and thats where the value ENDS. The sites that eventually publish your article are not relevant to your article or what your website is about and are supposed to be high PR sites but the pages that your articles end up on are pages with PR=0 – OK so they may pass some link juice if they get crawled.
7 months later and our team at First One On are still waiting for our articles on WORTHLESS websites to pass any link juice – hey wait a minute – they have not been crawled yet and they are not showing up in any link reporting, so they cannot possibly be of any value!
YES, there is value in creating original and unique article content, NOT SPUN rubbish, and YES there is value in having highly relevant content on RELEVANT websites with links back to your relevant content – BUT – in the case of BMR – there is NO VALUE whatsoever.
And the recurring offer that is about to expire is just another marketing scam to get you to buy into another worthless tool that only lines the pockets of those promoting and defending it as a valuable link building resource.
My advice is stay away from BMR unless you like spending your hard earned cash on worthless SEO tools.
OK so on a positive note, the lesson learned here with BMR is, yes there is value in creating unique original article content and yes if you can find a website that is very relevant to what you do and you can get your link on to that website then there is a very good chance that your article will provide Value to your website – but please don’t waste your money with ~ BMR.
If you want high quality links that are honest and true – you will have to go out and find a few relevant to your website and get your high quality articles published – it is better to have a few articles on high PR sites than loads of useless sites with PR=0.
@mansoor: I would agree with you regards seolinkvine and UAW. Been thinking about BMR for a couple of days now so disappointed to hear you dont rate it. Are there any services out there you would recommend?
Thanks Peter, looks like I should stay away from this tool.
And Unique Article Wizard is as bad?
Are there any good guys out there?
I’m quite surprised at the negativity surrounding BMR. I’ve tested it on quite a few sites and the results in some cases have been very good.
If you have an established site and want to get an inner page ranking for a long tail term then BMR is perfect.
For new sites it is a little hit and miss – I’d personally just use it to build a few links, ideally with the domain name as the anchor text.
Peter – you mention above that with BMR “the pages that your articles end up on are pages with PR=0″ but then suggest that you should instead “go out and find a few relevant to your website and get your high quality articles published” – well, if you get a high PR site to publish your article it’s still going to be published on a PR 0 page!
Also, I’m not sure how you could be using BMR for 7 months and be unable to find your links. BMR allows you to find your links in Google and from my experience 95% do end up being indexed.
On the other hand avoid Linkvana. It tends to always be mentioned along with BMR but with Linkvana only around 20-30% of my articles were indexed.
I’ve trialed BMR a few of times. My experience is as follows:
Indexing: All 30 of my posts have been indexed within a few days and last time I checked, all where still indexed.
SERPS: The first trial I did 10 articles to 10 different sites, noticed no change (as expected), the second trial I did 10 articles all to the same site with the main keyword and moved from 12th to 10th for a fairly competitive term. The final trial was for 2 longtail words I wasnt ranking for at all to inner pages (5 articles for each), both went to the first page.
I’ve not continued the sub with it as Im not sure its worth the monthly fee. I noticed some people complaining about their articles being declined – from my 30, every single one was approved.
Don’t waste your money on BMR – it does not work.
What does work is getting an article published on a RELEVANT site to what your website is about and then check the Link PR Boost you get from that one site.
After months of wasting time with BMR we have had only one or two articles published on highly relevent sites and seen dramatic rankings changes.
Its all about Quality not Quantity.
One link from One site could be worth 100 links from rubbish sites.
