Christmas Sites Ahoy!
I know I left it very late but I have finally got two Christmas sites up. They are both about a single toy I think will be popular this Christmas. One costs about £50 and the other about £20. I think I’ve left it too late for them to be indexed and ranked well so I have started a PPC campaign for each one. Hopefully they will get some action before the big day.
The campaign I started yesterday has already had a few clicks which have lead to clicks through to the merchant but no sales as of yet. I am quite confident I will make some sales as my sites have the lowest prices on them thanks to an ECU unit.
I’ve got two or three more Christmas domains so will be working on getting those sites up and running by the end of the weekend.
How are your Christmas sites doing?
Hi Joe,
Good to see you blogging again! I built a site yesterday which would be very good for Xmas but have probably left it a bit late if I’m honest. However, it’s a product that can be bought all year so I am going to just leave it to do its thing!
Other than that I don’t have any Xmas affiliate plans!
James
Count me in with you as I am too way too behind the schedule with my christmas websites. I have just managed to get one of my voucher code website revamped with the framework available from iCodes. (though the work is still going on and will be fully ready within next 2-3 days).
Anyone fancy a christmas specific .org.uk domain name(s)?(not free offcourse
)
Made my first sale today from one of my Christmas sites. I got the traffic using PPC so it wasnt 100% profit but a sale is a sale!
Might have to look more into high volume PPC in the near future as I’ve only tried on search term that get little traffic.
We’ve seen a big increase in traffic over the past couple of weeks on most of our sites, and it looks like the Xmas effect.
We figured on November being 2x October, and December being 2X November, but so far it’s looking better than that.
Good luck with your sites, it’s not too late if you’re driving traffic through means other than SEO.
