Even though I have never been to Thailand, quite a number of my relatives live over there. It is my dream to visit this country one day and take a ride on the tuk-tuk’s.

I’ve been to Thailand many times myself – last time was for 17 days back in March.

For a fun little day trip, try Koh Kret – an island in the Chao Praya River that can only be reached by boat.

Cheers WhiteKnight. Just trying to share the information I have learnt so far and maybe inspire some people to start with AM.

I was near JT’s house today but was too hot so didnt make the trip but its on the list! Might try and find an online backup/storage service so I can get my data wherever I am. Anyone used one?

Check out Jim Thompsons house, there’s only so many gold plated buddhas you can marvel at.

Check out patpong just so you can say you’ve seen a few ping pong tricks, tho nothing naughty obviously, and get down to the emerald cave at koh mook, tis pretty cool.

Oh, and make sure you’ve got a good backup system for your laptop just in case, you can get some massive storage on memory sticks nowadays.

Seriously, the atmosphere in the resorts can be so happy-go-lucky that it’s easy to think that it’s all harmless fun.

But these sex workers are often young girls and their career choice is usually driven by poverty rather than desire.

What you get up to is your business and I’m not going to judge your decisions but you do need to wake up to the risks.

HIV and other sexually-transmitted infections are a big problem in these countries. If these girls didn’t insist on you using condoms then you can bet they don’t use condoms with other men too.
