My First £50 Day!

After only a few day after posting about how I wanted a £50 a day site I managed to bring in over £50 in sales in one day.  This wasn’t from one site but spread across many but it  is still a new personal best for me and a nice change in my fortunes.

I put this down to finally giving PPC a proper go as most of the traffic came via Adwords ad I had setup in the past few days.  Yesterday I spent £13.01 on Adwords clicks and made £66.76 in commission which gives me a profit of £53.75. Some of the sales came through non-Adwords traffic so I will have to work out exactly how much I earnt from the Adwords traffic but I am certain it is more than the amount I spent.

£50 a day equals £1500 a month which would be amazing.  If I could make £25 a day in the not too distant future I would be very happy.

Hopefully this is the start of something good rather than a glitch in the Matrix.

    Nice one Joe!!

I started with PPC again 2 days ago and I am in profit although a very small one compared to yours but it’s a start!
Can’t believe I was wasting my time with other programs etc, Amazon is really the best program out there for me (and I presume for you too).

    Keep it up :)

    well done mate.

Keep the blog posts going, always a great read.

Big sites are the way forward, I used to be all niche, but have invested in big domains to move forward.

Cheers Max, glad to hear I am heading in the right direction. Do you get most of your traffic from SEO or PPC for the big sites?

Thanks James, I’m actually sending people to Affiliate Window merchants as am using ECU price comparison widgets and they tend to be cheaper than Amazon. I kind of prefer it as I can see in pretty much real time what is being sold. With Amazon you have to wait until the next day and with PPC that can be a long wait!

But I do love Amazon in every other way. I hate waiting for sales to be confirmed in AWin which can take over a month with some programmes, none of that with Amazon!

congats !!!!! – funny 50 per day was my first goal, i even called my first affiliate blog 45n5 meaning 50 per day to me

the matrix is better right now, fourth quarter is the easiest to make money from products with generic amazon, ebay, and other product merchants

Nice One Joe, I would say this is the Christmas sales period kicking in for you. Have you had a look at what keywords you are able to consistently convert and what scope there is to scale up (e.g. increase daily budget without increasing the CPC). Should be a good few days coming up what with pay day for many people in this week.

Congratulations Joe, I bet you will be making more than that, sounds like your site/ads are converting well just need more traffic :)

Well done, now try moving onto the next target and push yourself further.

Still stick with the target of getting a regular £50 a day but also try and increase or create a target for a new daily maximum.

I find PPC easier to profit from around Christmas as conversions tend to be higher due to people in Christmas shopping mode. Hopefully if you can get used to things and make a profit you can expand it over time. Good luck.
