Outsourcing Written Content

When I first started out in affiliate marketing I was quite happy to write 200 word product descriptions of things I’d never used or seen in real life but once I experienced my first downturn in profits I lost most of my enthusiasm for all things slightly boring and since then I’ve found it hard to motivate myself to write much content for my sites and as any SEO’er will tell you Content is King.

Recently I started paying for articles for my sites to be written by someone else.  I was happy to pay them and they did a good job.  I was making money so I thought why not reinvest it in my ‘business’?  Whenever I started a new affiliate marketing site I would commission a 500 word piece of content for that site on the topic of the niche to give the site a kick-start in the SERPS.  Now I am going to have a go at getting the product descriptions outsourced.  Hopefully this should speed things up a lot and allow me to get my sites ranking faster and bringing money in quicker.

Once that is all sorted I will need to have a look at getting backlinks outsourced as so far I have hardly managed to get any for my sites.

Can anyone recommend a backlinks provider?

Great blog posts as always. I have been in same boat as you on many occassions. When you do lots of content for a site and then the site does nothing in serps, or make any sales so easy to be demotivated.
Getting content written is a good way to keep things ticking over. I started getting content written last month. The main problem I have had however is choosen what content I want written! also still finding content not ranking so dont want to spend more as not getting instant results.

I have not tried them, but I know content now provide link building services

1waylinks.net is decent for speed. Quality of sites not brilliant… same as SEOLinkVine which I’m testing now.

Another one I’m testing is LinkJuicer, which submits to social sites and web2.0 type places from what I gather.

Other than this, Social Bookmarks work well for me, try socialmaximizer.com

Who are you using for outsourcing articles?

this is not the way to go. Google will catch up with all these eventually. You need linkbait to get people to link to you. Build a decent site and it will rank,

    Photos
    reviews
    Cool Apps
    Anything unique really

@purple, thanks for that, will have a look at what they offer.

@joe, I used a guy who got me 200 or something social book mark links for a site which is now at number one. Might try it again, will have a look at those guys. I’ll email you the contacts of the people I use for written content.

@Marchamont, sounds like a lot of work, good for a big site but for smaller sites I can’t see what I can make or do that will link-worthy?
